The role

  • Part Time (28 hours per week), Continuing
  • Level 7 - $81,137 to $88,655 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Orange 

As Paralegal, you will primarily provide essential professional support to the University Ombudsman, with supplementary assistance to the Legal Services team. In this capacity you will contribute to effective governance, privacy, complaints management and legal functions. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders, exercise sound judgement in managing information access matters, and support training and educational initiatives.

About you  

  • Possess a relevant law degree (or near completion) or equivalent professional experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong legal analytical capability, and high‑quality written ability
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with discretion in handling sensitive and legally privileged matters
  • Capable of independently completing legal and governance tasks with sound judgement
  • Technologically proficient
