The role

  • Full Time, Fixed Term (up to 5 years)
  • Senior remuneration package from $208,921 to $261,151 (including superannuation)
  • Campus-based: Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga. Other locations / remote work considered upon application.

As the Academic Director, Education Strategy, you will shape and direct a future-focused course portfolio aligned with the University's Education Strategy Vision. Collaborating with executive leaders, you’ll drive innovative curriculum development that responds to evolving student, industry, and disciplinary needs — including the integration of AI and programmatic assessment.

About you

  • PhD-qualified with recognised expertise in curriculum, student learning or assessment transformation
  • Strong knowledge of educational design, AI, policy, and equity in a regional university context
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator with influence across senior and cross-functional teams
  • Proven leader in strategic education initiatives, team management, and change delivery
  • Experienced in applying and evaluating digital technologies to enhance learning outcomes
