• Level 6 - $89,345 to $96,639 pa (plus 17% superannuation)

The Research Administrator oversees the School of Rural Medicine - Doctor of Medicine (MD) Project program, enabling medical students to conduct impactful rural health research. This role involves coordinating 37+ projects annually, managing ethics approvals, liaising with clinicians, and supporting students. Through seamless collaboration, it ensures the success of student projects and contributes to advancing rural healthcare outcomes.

About you  

• A qualification in Public Health, Nursing, Social Sciences or a related area with relevant work experience preferable within health systems in a rural setting. Previous experience in a research related role will be highly favourable.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to contribute to the writing of research proposals and reports and other academic publications
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilise and embrace current and emerging technologies to achieve work objectives
