The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level 8 - $113,948 to $128,980 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga

As Senior Educational Designer, you will lead a team to design and deliver high‑quality courses and subjects that advance student success and support educational strategy. You will oversee project workflows, manage risks, and build team capability through mentoring and coaching. Partnering with Faculty and School leaders, you will drive curriculum review and renewal, contribute to course and subject design, and support staff development. You will also model advanced evidence‑based learning design aligned with pedagogical theory, curriculum frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

About you

  • A degree with substantial professional practice or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Expertise in curriculum design across courses, subjects, assessments, and learning experiences using evidence‑based frameworks
  • Proven success leading curriculum projects involving complex stakeholders, analysis, problem‑solving, and delivery to agreed outcomes
  • Strong capability to lead and support teams to achieve priorities, performance standards, and organisational goals
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate, manage expectations, and navigate change effectively
