The role

  • Full Time, Fixed Term (until June 2027)
  • Level 5 - $81,999 to $89,521 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

As the Engagement Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our presence by helping drive high impact student recruitment and engagement efforts across Australia. You will contribute to building influential partnerships with Future Students. schools, and community partners while supporting dynamic engagement initiatives that inspire prospective students and strengthen future pathways. This role positions you at the heart of shaping meaningful connections and showcasing the value of the university experience.

About you 

  • Experience supporting stakeholder engagement, student outreach and aspiration, and relationship management activities to achieve defined objectives and targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and supporting student recruitment, promotional activities, events or engagement initiatives
  • High-level administrative, organisational and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

The appointment is conditional upon the successful applicant producing, satisfying and maintaining a “Working with Children Check”, in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).

The Division of Customer Experience is responsible for finding, engaging and admitting future students to Charles Sturt University through brand awareness and marketing campaigns, student recruitment activities and events, and admission and conversion processes. Our teams work closely with the Office of Planning and Analytics, Division of Student Success, Office of Engagement and Enterprise, and Division of Student Experience to create a seamless, end-to-end customer journey.
