  • Level D - $167,348 to $184,243 pa (plus 17% superannuation)

We are seeking a visionary academic leader to join the School of Nursing, Paramedicine and Healthcare Sciences as either a Professor or Associate Professor in Midwifery. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of midwifery education, research, and community engagement across regional and national contexts.

You will be involved in leading and delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching in Midwifery alongside driving impactful research aligned with the school and university strategic goals.  You will also build strong industry and community partnerships and contribute to governance, curriculum development, and strategic initiatives.

About you 

  • Doctoral qualification in Midwifery or a related field with registration as Midwife with AHPRA.
  • Proven leadership in academic settings.
  • Strong research and publication record in quality ranked journals.
  • Commitment to culturally respectful and inclusive practices.
