Are you passionate about sustainability and agriculture innovation? We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead strategic planning, operational delivery, and continuous improvement for the Cool Soil and Sustainability Portfolio. This includes the Cool Soil Initiative, Renewables in Agriculture Centre of Excellence, and BioSolutions Innovation and Knowledge Hub. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, industry partners, and research teams to design and implement systems that drive effective project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and data driven decision making.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving Charles Sturt University's sustainability initiatives. Your advanced technical, analytical, and strategic leadership will be crucial in delivering evidence based outcomes, particularly in GHG emission reporting, regenerative agriculture evaluation, and ESG frameworks. You will guide data informed decision making by enhancing internal capabilities, developing robust digital systems, and fostering proactive stakeholder engagement.

About you

  • A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 5-8 years experience in data analysis, finance analysis, sustainability analysis, or similar roles
  • Experience in strategy, advisory, or business analysis within consulting/accounting, especially in sustainability, ESG, or agricultural innovation
  • Proficiency in data management, analysis, and modelling (Excel)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
