The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level 10 - $142,137 to $150,720 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga

This is a newly created, senior leadership opportunity to centrally lead and transform enterprise technology portfolio delivery across the University.

Bringing together previously separate management functions, this role provides a single point of accountability for project delivery, business analysis, change, testing, and portfolio and project governance; driving stronger, more consistent outcomes aligned to the future operating model.

Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Transformation, you will provide enterprise-level leadership across the technology delivery portfolio. You will ensure initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively governed, and successfully delivered to achieve organisational priorities.

You will shape investment decisions, influence senior stakeholders, and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex, interdependent programs of work, while strengthening delivery capability and frameworks across the organisation.

This is a unique opportunity to build a consolidated, high-performing function with clear accountability, improved resourcing coordination, and stronger delivery outcomes within an existing budget framework.

About you

You are an experienced and strategic technology delivery leader who thrives in complex environments and can bring clarity, structure, and impact at an enterprise level.

You will bring:

  • Proven leadership of large scale portfolio delivery functions
  • Experience managing significant budgets, resources, and contracts
  • Strong track record delivering complex, enterprise-wide programs
  • Expertise in governance, frameworks, and delivery methodologies
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive decision making
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong capability in prioritisation, planning, and resource optimisation
  • A focus on continuous improvement, outcomes, and value realisation.
