The role

  • Part Time, Continuing (60% fraction - 21 hours per week)
  • Level 5 - $49,199 to $89,521 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga (On campus role)

Working as part of the Technical Team in the Faculty of Science and Health you will have responsibilities across all Schools in the Faculty. You will be providing a range of technical and laboratory support including the preparation and breakdown of classes, assistance during classes, safe operation of specialised equipment, maintenance of inventories and assistance with audit and risk management processes.

This position has a specialised focus and as such requires skills, qualifications and experience in Nursing, Paramedicine or Allied Health.

As part of this recruitment, a pre-employment functional screening is required.

About you 

  • Qualification and/or relevant experience in Nursing, Paramedicine or Allied Health
  • Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining specialised equipment
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, risk management and safe handling of hazardous/biological materials
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to work in a busy environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
