The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level 8 - $113,948 to $128,980 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

Lead the strategic direction and daily operations of our university‑based Children’s Centres in Wagga Wagga and Albury‑Wodonga, where you’ll guide a dedicated team of early childhood professionals, deliver high‑quality programs, build strong relationships with families and the community, and uphold excellence under the National Quality Framework.

You will model excellence in curriculum development, uphold best‑practice standards, champion child safety, and create an environment that is nurturing, inclusive, and innovative. This role suits an experienced early childhood leader who thrives on collaboration, professional growth, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and educators.

The position will be based in Wagga Wagga with occasional day travel required to the Albury-Wodonga Centre.

About you

You will bring strong leadership and expertise in early childhood education, demonstrated by:

  • Experience leading teams and delivering high‑quality outcomes for children aged 0–6.
  • Solid knowledge of early childhood legislation, frameworks and compliance.
  • Capability to manage budgets, mentor staff and build strong family and community relationships.
  • Clear, effective communication and a collaborative leadership style.
  • Commitment to a safe, inclusive and high‑quality learning environment.
  • A proactive, organised approach that keeps children’s wellbeing at the centre.

As part of this recruitment process, this role requires mandatory pre‑employment screening, including:
