The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level 8 - $113,948 to $128,980 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Orange or Wagga Wagga

As the Financial Accountant (Assets), you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the University’s asset accounting requirements. This includes overseeing the procedures and governance frameworks that support asset reporting and compliance.

This role would ideally suit an experienced accounting professional with a solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

About you

  • Qualifications, skills and experience relevant to the position
  • Chartered Accountant, Certified Practising Accountant or actively working towards accreditation
  • Experience in accounting under Australian Accounting Standards requirements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills
