  • Part Time – 17.5 hours per week, Fixed Term (until December 2027)
  • Level 6 - $44, 672 to $48,319 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)

Apply now to join the Children’s Voices Centre (CVC) as the welcoming face of our team. As the Senior Administration Officer, you will emphasise inclusivity, diversity, social justice, equity, capacity building, innovation, and fun. You will work closely with the Centre Director, Associate Directors, and Research Manager to support the Centre’s activities and create opportunities for collaborative interdisciplinary research. Engage with internal and external researchers, stakeholders, and national and international organisations to implement research translation activities, professional development courses, and resource development.

This is your unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant and inclusive team dedicated to making a difference in research with children, for children and about children.  Your responsibilities will include: overseeing the Centre’s financial operations; providing high quality executive support to the Director and leadership team of the CVC; coordinating and overseeing the administration of governance requirements of CVC; providing high level administrative support for the establishment and monitoring of contracts. You will support research activities with children, families, communities, professionals and organisations. You will also enjoy working in a supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

About you

  • Proven experience in administrative and financial management, preferably in a higher education institution
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including children
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Display a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and social justice
