The role

  • Continuing, Full time (Part time and job share arrangement negotiable)
  • Level 3 - $63,798 to $69,274 (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst

As the first point of contact for patients, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of appointments and welcoming them to the clinic. Other duties include providing relevant information, banking, invoicing, collecting of fees and payments and participating in hygiene and safe-work practices as determined by dental regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate will be courteous and caring, able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone and be able to juggle multiple competing demands effectively. Previous experience working in a hospital, dental or health care facility is preferable.

About you 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of team and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Good numerical skills to accurately and efficiently process banking and financial reconciliations.
  • Previous experience using patient management systems and a high level of typing accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and problem solve.
  • Qualifications, skills and/or experience relevant to the role.
