Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Educational Equity

The role

• Full time, Fixed term (up to 3 years)
• Level A - $94,909 to $101,795 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
• Level B - $107,098 to $122,990 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
• Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga or Remote

You will assist on developing projects and executing grants to explore the ways in which education can address educational inequality, with a focus on widening participation. Under the leadership of Professor Sarah O'Shea you will generate theoretical insights and knowledge designed to inform and improve educational inequality. 

About you

• Completion of a PhD in sociology, higher education equity, social justice or equity-related field 
• Experience in the writing of grant applications and research proposals
• Capacity to undertake research activities and publish scholarly work 
• Demonstrated commitment to applying culturally respectful, inclusive and safe practices
