The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level A - $80,046 to $108,204 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Level C - $139,182 to $160,308 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Port Macquarie

An exciting opportunity within the School of Dentistry and Medical Sciences to actively engage in teaching simulation practicals, delivery of medical radiation science curriculum, research and curriculum development related to diagnostic radiography and the Medical Radiation Sciences.

The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of diagnostic radiography and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. The appointee will be responsible for teaching general radiography using clinical simulation and a range of subjects  using multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery).

The appointee will also participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile that aligns with both the University and School’s direction

About you 

  • A qualification relevant to diagnostic radiography or equivalent accreditation and standing appropriate at the level being applied for.
  • Full registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of diagnostic radiography gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities and/or course administration.
  • For Level C appointment, proven high-impact research profile, including publications and grants
  • A demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching.
