The role

  • Full Time – Continuing 
  • Level 4 - $73,230 to $79,494 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

You will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of veterinary clinical skills. You’ll assist in both simulated environments and live animal settings at our Veterinary Clinical Centre (VCC), ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality learning experiences for students.

This hands-on role involves preparing materials and equipment, supporting surgical nursing and patient care, and maintaining compliance with safety and risk management standards.

A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is an essential requirement of this position.

About you

  • Degree in a relevant discipline with 2+ years’ experience, or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Recent experience in veterinary clinical skills operations and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of animal handling, veterinary chemicals, and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the safe use, handling and disposal of hazardous substances and biological materials.
