The Role

  • Full time, Fixed Term (up to 2 years)
  • Level B - $102,486 to $121,504 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga (other locations may be considered)

We are currently seeking an academic to teach a range of subjects in the Bachelor and Master of Information Studies courses and deliver high-quality student-centred learning opportunities.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the discipline of Library and Information Studies by continuing to build a record of research and fostering industry partnerships.

The successful candidate would normally be required to work at the Charles Sturt campus at Wagga Wagga, although a flexible working arrangement, where the candidate is based off-campus in another location in Australia, may be negotiable.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification relevant to the discipline or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • A record of research related to the discipline
  • Demonstrated capacity to deliver high-quality student-centred learning and teaching
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Library and Information Studies, with the ability to teach and research in various areas
