The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • Level B/C - AU$102,486 to AU$144,318 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga 

Actively engage in teaching, research and curriculum development related to the Medical Radiation Sciences in the School of Dentistry and Medical Sciences.

The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of radiation therapy and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. The appointee will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects which may include radiation therapy, medical radiation science and/or clinical education.

It will be expected that multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery) are utilised. The appointee will participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile that aligns with both the University and Schools direction.

To be successful you will have:

  • A master or doctoral qualification relevant to radiation therapy or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • Eligibility for full registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra), or for overseas trained practitioners, demonstrated evidence of having consulted with Ahpra regarding eligibility for registration
  • Experience in teaching radiation therapy or medical radiation sciences, as a lecturer, tutor, demonstrator or supervisor, in a patient clinic setting or a tertiary education institution
  • A record of academic achievement relevant to the discipline, in the scholarship of teaching, and/ or research, or professional activity
  • Evidence of and a demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
