PageUp’s security consultants have confirmed that they have not identified any further threats within PageUp’s systems and that PageUp is safe to use. Based on the outcome of that investigation and additional security improvements made by PageUp to mitigate the risks of similar future attacks, CSU has reinstated the PageUp recruitment system.

The Role

  • Continuing Full Time
  • $135,871 to $175,021 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Port Macquarie

You will contribute to the research profile of the School, through the undertaking of high quality research with demonstrable outcomes, including publications and research grants; the mentoring of colleagues in the School; and the supervision of postgraduate and undergraduate students. 

The position also requires teaching both internal and online subjects to students undertaking study in accredited psychology programs or in the health sciences. This teaching may involve teaching residential schools to students, occasionally requiring teaching over a weekend. The University is currently implementing new models for course design and delivery in the on-line environment, and continues to provide on-campus teaching in regional centres within NSW.

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct ethical, high quality research/creative works or professional activity at a national and international level through scholarship, publication and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide significant mentoring and coaching to support the academic development of colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in cooperative processes to design, deliver and continually improve high quality courses and learning experiences for students including the giving and receiving of constructive feedback

The School of Psychology has academic staff located on four campuses at Charles Sturt University, including Bathurst, Wagga, Albury and Port Macquarie. The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. The School’s academic staff are active in a number of research areas, including clinical psychology, forensic psychology, developmental psychology, ageing, cognition, social psychology, personality and individual differences, health psychology, psychophysiology and rehabilitation. The School promotes psychology in general through the professional, educational and research activities of its staff, but has a particular commitment to rural and regional communities, as well as to promoting access to psychology education for indigenous Australians.
